MANAGER

We are looking for driven candidates with a bias toward action and a track record of delivering remarkable results. Candidates must have a passion for delivering gold-standard results and are effective at working with others to produce exponential value to clients.

 

Managers serve as an integral part of our project teams, routinely working directly with clients’ and the firm’s senior leadership, helping solve complex problems from day one of their first assignments. The ideal candidate is adaptable to new industries, functions, systems, and tools, can handle multiple tasks concurrently, and is able to meet deadlines under pressure. Managers will be working with client and firm team members on time-sensitive projects where they structure a work plan and manage the collective efforts through to completion, identify and raise issues and risks, communicate up, down and across organizations and report on activities, progress, and challenges. Managers are expected to collaborate with and mentor firm team members to amplify individual strengths, coach and lead development of individual growth opportunities, and bring a human touch to our client engagements. 

 

Managers frequently lead the following types of engagements by conducting independent analysis and directing teams to deliver results.  Hands-on experience in several of the following areas is required:

  • System Implementations
  • Operational Transformation
  • Shared Services Design and Implementation
  • Cost Reduction Strategies
  • Mergers and Acquisitions: Divestitures, Carve-Outs, and/or Integrations
  • Information Technology Improvements
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives/Process Improvement/Optimization for processes such as Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay and/or Record-to-Report
  • Program Management
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Performance Management

 

Professional Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Proficiency with Smartsheet (integrations and/or automation)
  • Strong technical acumen, analytical skills, and comfortable working with complex data
  • Synthesize meaningful insights from data, opinions, or facts to develop a point of view and make recommendations based on best practices
  • Able to succinctly and effectively articulate information in written and verbal communications, adapt messaging to audience (from analyst to executive levels)
  • Ability to work with clients directly by leading firm and/or 3rd party resources to implement strategic and operational recommendations with high-quality results in time-pressured projects on-time and on-budget
  • Able to build a business case (through cost/benefit analysis) and drive change on related work streams and projects
  • Independently identify issues and risks, leverage structured problem-solving approaches, and adapt quickly to evolving situations
  • Structured project management (time, team, scope, and work-stream management)
  • Develop and nurture client relationships with ability to understand culture, organizational behavior, and stakeholder agendas with respect to effectively removing barriers and driving projects to completion
  • Identify and bring attention to senior leaders any opportunities for expanding existing and new client engagements
  • Strong business analysis and ability to extract client requirements (business and functional)
  • Effective at defining, establishing a structure, and managing quality assurance measures for application implementations and/or process implementations
  • High energy style, flexible and adaptive with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Integration mind-set, proactively seeking/facilitating solutions to remove issues, risks, and barriers

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience, with at least 4+ years of professional services consulting experience or corporate positions with focus on improving or developing new operational, engineering, or financial processes and/or systems implementations
  • 3+ years of demonstrated success in supervising teams of various sizes (2 or more individuals) and multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Flexibility for overnight travel (up to 60%)
